ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention relates to a tool for cutting excess trimming material with the use of two fences to guide the device. A plane is cut into the top part of the body of the device, slanted up towards the rear of the device, and up towards the left side of the device. This plane provides a desirable base to support a blade and a pressure plate, which secures the blade. A V-shaped notch is cut into the front part of the device at the point where the fences meet, providing an entry point for the material to be trimmed. The device has a slight space between the front of the device and the blade providing an area of support in order top rest the device on the material directly before cutting. The device can be adjusted to different sizes of trim by loosening the fasteners and raising or lowering the blade along with the pressure plate. A groove runs the length of the underside of the device at the point where the fences meet, parallel to the fences. This groove prevents the fences from becoming clogged by excess adhesive from the trimming material. - 1 -
