The present invention relates to electrically conductive devices comprising at least one electrically conductive substrate surrounded by an interpolymer composition. The interpolymer composition comprises at least one substantially random interpolymer comprising: (i) polymer units derived from: (a) at least one vinyl or vinylidene aromatic monomer, or (b) at least one hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer; or (c) a combination of at least one vinyl or vinylidene aromatic monomer and at least one hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer; and (ii) polymer units derived from at least one aliphatic olefin monomer having from about 2 to about 20 carbon atoms. Such devices include, for example, wire and cable assemblies.

L'invention concerne des dispositifs électriquement conducteurs comportant au moins un substrat électroconducteur entouré d'une composition interpolymère. Ladite composition est constituée d'au moins un interpolymère sensiblement aléatoire comprenant: (i) des unités polymères dérivées de: (a) au moins un monomère aromatique de vinyle ou de vinylidène; (b) au moins un monomère de vinyle ou de vinylidène aliphatique ou cycloaliphatique empêché; ou (c) une combinaison d'au moins un monomère aromatique de vinyle ou de vinylidène et au moins un monomère de vinyle ou de vinylidène aliphatique ou cycloaliphatique empêché; et (ii) des unités polymères dérivées d'au moins un monomère d'oléfine aliphatique ayant environ entre 2 et 20 atomes de carbone.
