ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR COVER-TERMINAL ASSEMBLY Abstract of the Disclosure A cover-terminal assembly has a gasketed and beaded terminal in a counterbored hole in a polyphenylene sulfide cover. The shank of the terminal is upset by resistance heating under pressure. The portion of the hole opposite the headed end of the terminal is also counterbored, and then filled in by molten cover material that is flowed during the hot upsetting operation.
