A surgical or permeable mask are used to stop contaminants from entering the mouth and nose of patients and, people administering healthcare or working in other areas where there is a potential danger of airborne contaminants such as particulates, pollutants, bacteria, viruses, or other dangerous particles entering the oral and nasal passages. The Present Invention provides increased filtration efficiency of these masks by creating an electrostatic field that attracts and captures oppositely charged contaminants and repels similarly charged contaminants.
On utilise un masque chirurgical ou perméable pour empêcher les contaminants d'entrer dans la bouche et le nez de patients et de personnes administrant des soins de santé ou travaillant dans d'autres zones dans lesquels il existe un danger potentiel dû aux contaminants atmosphériques, comme des matières particulaires, des polluants, des bactéries, des virus ou d'autres particules dangereuses entrant dans les voies orales et nasales. La présente invention permet d'augmenter l'efficacité de filtration de ces masques en créant un champ électrostatique qui attire et capture les contaminants de charge opposée et repousse les contaminants de même charge.
