Synthetic alkyl arenesulfonates in combination with the salt of a coupled reaction product of (A)(I) high-molecular weight polycarboxylic acylating agent, said acylating agent (A)(I) having at least one hydrocarbyl substituent having an average of from about 20 to about 500 carbon atoms, and at least one (B)(I) low-molecular weight polycarboxylic acylating agent, said acylating agent (B)(I) optionally having at least one hydrocarbyl substituent having an average of about 6 to about 19 carbon atoms, being coupled together by (C) at least one compound having (i) two or more primary amino groups, (ii) two or more secondary amino groups, (iii) at least one primary amino group and at least one secondary amino group, (iv) at least two hydroxyl groups or (v) at least one primary or secondary amino group and at least one hydroxyl group. These salt compositions are useful as emulsifiers in oil-in-water emulsions useful as functional fluids.
La présente invention a trait à des arènesulfonates d'alkyle synthétiques en combinaison avec le sel d'un produit réactionnel couplé d'agent d'acylation (A)(I) polycarboxylique de poids moléculaire élevé, ledit agent d'acylation (A)(I) comprenant au moins un substituant hydrocarbyle ayant une moyenne d'environ 20 à 500 atomes de carbone, et d'au moins un agent d'acylation (B)(I) polycarboxylique de faible poids moléculaire comprenant éventuellement au moins un substituant hydrocarbyle ayant une moyenne d'environ 6 à 19 atomes de carbone, étant couplé ensemble par (C) au moins un composé comprenant (i) au moins deux groupes amino primaires, (ii) au moins deux groupes amino secondaires, (iii) au moins un groupe amino primaire et au moins un groupe amino secondaire, (iv) au moins deux groupes hydroxyles ou (v) au moins un groupe amino primaire ou un groupe amino secondaire et au moins un groupe hydroxyle. Ces compositions à base de sels sont utiles en tant qu'émulsifiants dans des émulsions huile-dans-eau en tant que fluides fonctionnels.
