An evaporative transpiration pump is provided having an inlet (9) for liquids, an outlet (10) for gases, a porous body (1) disposed between the inlet (9) and the outlet (10) and heating means (6) disposed at the outlet side of the porous body(1) wherein the thermal conductively of said porous body (1) is no greater than 5Wm-1K-1, preferably no greater than 1Wm-1K-1. The pump is particularly suitablefor use in multi-column cryodistillation apparatus.

Pompe à évaporation-transpiration, comprenant un orifice d'entrée (9) destiné aux liquides, un orifice de sortie (10) destiné aux gaz, un corps poreux (1) disposé entre l'orifice d'entrée (9) et l'orifice de sortie (10), ainsi qu'un moyen de chauffage (6) disposé du côté sortie du corps poreux (1), la conductivité thermique de ce corps poreux (1) ne dépassant pas 5Wm<-1>K<-1>, et ne dépassant de préférence pas 1Wm<-1>K<-1>. Cette pompe convient particulièrement à un appareil de cryodistillation à plusieurs colonnes.
