TITLE: AN IMPROVED FIBRE OPTIC LAMP ABSTRACT This invention relates to an improved fibre optic lamp and particularly to one which comprises a main frame (1) provided with a colored plate (2) below which a lamp (3) is disposed. A socket (11) with a sleeve (12) received therein is disposed on the top of the main frame and located above the colored plate to receive the optical fibers. The colored plate is secured to a shaft (4) which is associated with a reduction gear mechanism (6). A 12V ac motor (5) is used to drive the colored plate to rotate through the shaft and the reduction gear mechanism. A transformer (9) seperated from the fibre optic lamp is used to convert the 110V ac voltage into 12V ac voltage to supply the electric power to the lamp and the motor.
