A finger protecting device (1) for protecting at least one finger of a hand of a user of the device (1) against the occurrence of chafing resulting from rubbing of the at least one finger against the shaft (3) when practicing a sport with the shaft (3), such as golfing and the like. The finger protecting device (1) comprises a sleeve (5) removably mountable onto a thumb of the hand, and being shaped and sized for covering a substantial portion of the thumb. The sleeve (5) has opposite front and rear surfaces (7, 9), the front surface (7) being positioned before a digital area of the thumb when the sleeve (5) is mounted onto the thumb for acting as a barrier between the thumb and the shaft (3), thereby protecting the thumb against the occurrence of chafing resulting from rubbing against the shaft (3). The sleeve (5) further has first and second opposite ends (11, 13), the second end (13) being open- ended for allowing the thumb to be inserted into the sleeve (5) through said second end (13). The finger protecting device (1) also comprises fastening means (15) operatively connected to the sleeve (5) for selectively adjusting and fastening the sleeve (5) onto the thumb when mounted thereon. Preferably also, the finger protecting device (1) comprises extension portions for mounting the device onto corresponding parts of the hand, as well as additional sleeves (105) for protecting other fingers of the hand against chafing, the other sleeves (105) being shaped preferably so as to enable the finger tips of the fingers to be exposed so as to enable a better feel for the shaft (3) when practicing a sport therewith.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection de doigt (1) permettant de protéger au moins un doigt d'une main d'un utilisateur dudit dispositif (1) contre la survenue d'une irritation provenant du frottement du doigt contre la tige (3), lors de la pratique d'un sport impliquant l'utilisation d'une tige (3), tel que le golf et similaire. Ce dispositif de protection de doigt (1) comprend un manchon (5) monté de manière amovible à un pouce de la main, formé et dimensionné pour recouvrir une partie importante du pouce. Ledit manchon (5) possède des surfaces avant et arrière opposées (7, 9), la surface avant (7) étant placée devant une zone numérique du pouce, lorsque le manchon (5) est monté sur le pouce de façon à servir de barrière entre le pouce et la tige (3), ce qui permet de protéger le pouce contre la survenue d'une irritation résultant du frottement contre l'arbre (3). Le manchon (5) possède également des première et seconde extrémités opposées (11, 13), la seconde extrémité (13) étant ouverte au niveau de l'extrémité pour permettre au pouce d'être introduit dans le manchon (5) à travers ladite seconde extrémité (13). Ledit dispositif de protection de doigt (1) comporte aussi un dispositif de fixation (15) relié de manière fonctionnelle au manchon (5) afin d'ajuster et de fixer sélectivement le manchon sur le pouce, lorsqu'il y est monté. De préférence, le dispositif de protection de doigt (1) comprend des parties d'extension servant à monter le dispositif sur des parties correspondantes de la main, ainsi que des manchons supplémentaires (105) servant à protéger d'autres doigts de la main contre une irritation, les autres manchons (105) étant conçus de préférence pour permettre aux bouts des doigts d'être exposés afin de permettre une meilleure sensation de la tige (3), lors de la pratique d'un sport.
