The invention proposes a fingerprint reading system comprising a sensor (10, 20), upon which a finger (11, 62) is placed in order to read the fingerprint (12, 63), having an active surface made up of sensor elements (41, 42, 43) with integrated temperature variations and thermoresistors creating a temporary variation in the temperature of the sensor elements, the sensor providing stable images of the fingerprint which may be immobile. The system can comprise methods for viewing and processing fingerprint images. For application in identification authentification devices.
L'invention propose un système de lecture d'empreintes digitales, comportant un capteur (10,20), sur lequel est appuyé un doigt (11,62) dont on veut lire l'empreinte digitale (12,63), ayant une surface active d'éléments sensibles (41,42,43) aux variations de température et des résistances de chauffage intégrés créant une variation transitoire de la température des éléments sensibles, le capteur fournissant des images stables de l'empreinte digitale qui peut être immobile. Le système peut comporter des moyens de visualisation et de traitement des images de l'empreinte digitale. Application notamment dans les dispositifs d'authentification de personnes.
