6. ABSTRACT An evacuation chute for a building. It is composed on each floor of : - a reinforced concrete cylinder (4), - a smaller sheet metal cylinder (3) inside the concrete cylinder, - a pleated textile sleeve (7), tightened by a series of elastics, attached to the former cylinder. It is independent of the building. It hag a security lighting system (32), a smoke extractor (13), a hosing system (10) and other accessories. It has openings connecting it to the building which have fire-proof doors (9) and it makes possible a rapid, completely safe evacuation from the buiding.
