The invention relates to a fire-resistant thermal and/or acoustic insulation product, made from mineral wool and an organic binder, characterised in that said product contains a carboxylic acid metal salt as a fire retardant agent, specifically a carboxylate of a metal selected from the group containing aluminium, zinc, calcium and magnesium. The invention also relates to the method for producing said fire-resistant insulating product and to the binding composition suitable for use in the production of same.
La présente invention se rapporte à un produit d'isolation thermique et/ou acoustique apte à résister au feu, à base de laine minérale et d'un liant organique, caractérisé en ce qu'il renferme en tant qu'agent retardateur de feu un sel métallique d'acide carboxylique, en particulier un carboxylate de métal choisi parmi le groupe constitué par l'aluminium, le zinc, le calcium et le magnésium. L'invention concerne aussi le procédé de fabrication du produit d'isolation résistant au feu et la composition d'encollage adaptée à la réalisation dudit produit.
