A fishing apparatus using aeration bubbles to attract fish, includes a flexible hose having a first end, a second end, and an interior bore that extends from the first end to the second end. A coupling is provided for attaching the first end of the flexible hose to an air pump. A fishing line is anchored at the first end of the flexible hose, extending past the second end. A one way valve is positioned at the second end of the flexible hose. The one way valve is oriented to preclude entry of water into the second end of the flexible hose while allowing air to exit the second end of the flexible hose under pressure.
