Abstract A flexible current feeding post for interconnecting electrically and mechanically circuits on one substrate to circuits on a parallel substrate is described. The post has two conducting parts, for example, a solid cylinder or a disk of metal co-axially connected by a bellows. The axial and radial flexibility of the bellows provides dimensional flexibility allowing the post to be connected between the substrate without undesirable distortion of the substrates. As a result, the voltage drop at the contact points between the feeding post and the counter portion of the circuit formed on the substrates is substantially reduced, increasing considerably the reliability of the apparatus and reducing the assembly cost of the substrates. A flexible by-pass means is also proposed to increase the current capacity of the feeding post.
