A system and method for mobility support of a mobile node having a home network in a heterogeneous roaming environment is presented. The method comprises the steps of authenticating the mobile node in a visited network and obtaining an address for the mobile node in the visited network, establishing a security connection between a functional component in the visited network and an agent in the home network, creating a home address for the mobile node, and using the home address to generate a SIP signaling address, a SIP media address, and a non-SIP media address, such that SIP non-media is transmitted using the security connection to the SIP signaling address, SIP media is transmitted using the security connection to the SIP media address, and non-SIP media is transmitted using the security connection to the non-SIP media address.
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de support à la mobilité d'un nAEud mobile disposant d'un réseau de référence dans un environnement d'itinérance hétérogène. Le procédé consiste à authentifier le nAEud mobile dans un réseau visité et à se procurer une adresse pour le nAEud mobile dans le réseau visité, à établir une liaison de sécurité entre un composant fonctionnel du réseau visité et un agent du réseau de référence, à créer une adresse de référence pour le nAEud mobile et à utiliser l'adresse de référence pour générer une adresse de signalisation SIP, une adresse multimédia SIP, et une adresse multimédia non SIP, de façon que le non multimédia SIP soit transmis en utilisant la liaison de sécurité à destination de l'adresse de signalisation SIP, que le multimédia SIP soit transmis en utilisant la liaison de sécurité à destination de l'adresse multimédia SIP, et que le multimédia non SIP soit transmis en utilisant la liaison de sécurité à destination de l'adresse multimédia non SIP.
