The screw can be arranged not only in a linear transfer line but also in a curve transfer line. Therefore, it is possible to make container transfer smooth and simplify the construction of a container transfer apparatus, thereby reducing the installation cost. It can also reduce wear of the pipe in the transfer of powder or granules. A container transfer apparatus of the present invention includes an arrangement in which the screws described above, or the screw and a guide, are spaced apart in parallel to transfer containers held between them by rotating the screw. The container transfer thus can be made smoothly even in a curve line. Moreover, the maintenance cost of the screws can be reduced and wear of rails can be limited considerably, as well. The transfer apparatus for powder and granules in accordance with the present invention can reduce wear of the pipe.
