ABSTRACT A drive mechanism for actuating the fingers of a peristaltic pump has a base, and a drive member reciprocally mounted on the base. A jointed arm is pivotally attached at one end to the drive member and at the other end to a fixed point on the base. A rotary cam actuator is mounted on the base to urge against the arm to reciprocate the drive member.
