ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The fluidized bed apparatus comprises, successively arranged in the upward direction along the vertical longitudinal axis thereof, a receptacle for coarser fractions, an upwardly flaring receptacle for medium fractions and an upwardly flaring recep- tacle for fine fractions. The fluidized bed apparatus further comprises grates extending perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis thereof in the receptacles for fine fractions and for medium fractions.
