The foam core of a pillow is devided into three parts on the top of its length, and these three parts are forming parallel channels to each other, where the middle channel is deeper and wider than the side channels. The side channels are higher to allow one to sleep on the left or on the right side to obtain good sleeping pasture. On the top of the foam core a softer layer of foam or batting may be used.
