A module arrangement (5) according to an embodiment of the invention consists of a plurality of membrane mod-ules (6) arranged in a two dimensional array (7) and extending between upper and lower block-type manifolds (8) and (9), respec-tively. The array of modules is further divided into sub-groups of modules (10) separated from each other by space (11) extending transversely across the membrane array (7). An integrated support frame (12) is positioned in the space (11) between the sub-groups (10) and is fixed to the upper and lower manifold blocks (8) and (9) to form an integrated support structure within the module array (7).

Linvention concerne, selon un mode de réalisation, un agencement de modules (5) constitué dune pluralité de modules à membrane (6) agencés selon un réseau à deux dimensions (7) et sétendant entre des manifolds (8) et (9) de type bloc supérieur et inférieur, respectivement. Le réseau de modules est divisé en sous-groupes de modules (10) séparés les uns des autres par un espace (11) qui sétend transversalement au travers du réseau de membranes (7). Un cadre de support intégré (12) est placé dans lespace (11) entre les sous-groupes (10) et est fixé aux blocs de manifold supérieur et inférieur (8) et (9) pour former une structure de support intégrée dans le réseau de modules (7).
