A gas combustion type driving tool has two operation modes, a contact mode and a trigger mode. In the contact mode, nail driving is performed by pressing a contact arm (15) to a target material (P) with a trigger lever (16) pulled. In the trigger mode, nail driving is performed by pulling the trigger lever (16) with the contact arm (15) pressed to the target material (P).
