Liquid, nutritionally complete formulas are disclosed with improved physical stability. The nutritionally complete formulas are pourable, yet are able to hold minerals, insoluble fiber and flavoring agents such as cocoa powder in suspension without the formation of a sediment that is not readily redispersible. The invention comprises the use of gellan gum at a concentration of between 10-500 parts per million. Although gellan gum alone is sufficient, the nutritionally complete formula may also comprise other stabilizers such as carrageenan and/or carboxymethylcellulose.

L'invention concerne des préparations liquides, complètes d'un point de vue nutritionnel, présentant une stabilité physique améliorée. Les préparations complètes d'un point de vue nutritionnel sont coulables tout en étant capables de garder des minéraux, des fibres insolubles et des aromatisants tels que la poudre de cacao en suspension sans qu'il n'y ait formation d'un sédiment difficilement redispersible. L'invention concerne également l'utilisation de gomme gellane à une concentration de 10 à 500 parties par million. Bien que la gomme gellane seule suffise, la préparation complète d'un point de vue nutritionnel peut aussi renfermer d'autres stabilisants tels que le carraghénane et/ou la carboxyméthylcellulose.
