The invention relates to a glass cabinet for storage and/or display of objects, comprising a front, a rear (2), a right (3) and a left lateral surface (4), a bottom piece (5) and an upper piece (6) forming the top and at least one lateral surface, for example, the front lateral surface is a glass door (1). In the closed state of the glass cabinet, the interior thereof is sealed in an airtight manner to the environment and the door (1) is mounted to be displaced laterally to the side on guide means mounted in the region of the upper piece or the lower piece or both, until half of the door opening is open. The guide means is designed such that when in the above position the projecting part of the door (1) may be pivoted until this part of the door (1) lies on the left (3) or right lateral surface (4). Such a glass cabinet is particularly suitable for having a large width.
L'invention concerne une vitrine de stockage et/ou d'exposition d'articles présentant une surface latérale avant, une surface latérale arrière (2), une surface latérale droite (3) et une surface latérale gauche (4), une partie inférieure (5) et une partie supérieure (6) formant le côté supérieur, au moins une surface latérale, par ex. la surface latérale avant, étant conçue en tant que porte vitrée (1). Lorsque la vitrine est fermée, son espace intérieur est fermé de façon étanche à l'air par rapport à l'extérieur, et la porte (1) peut coulisser parallèlement de façon latérale par l'intermédiaire d'un élément de guidage disposé au niveau de la partie supérieure ou de la partie inférieure ou respectivement au niveau de la partie supérieure et de la partie inférieure, jusqu'à libération de la moitié de l'ouverture de porte. L'élément de guidage est conçu de telle manière que la partie saillante de la porte (1) peut pivoter jusqu'à s'appuyer sur la surface latérale gauche (3) ou droite (4). Une telle conception est particulièrement destinée à des vitrines de grande largeur.
