A glass substrate for inorganic EL displays which is made of an aluminosilicate glass, characterized by having CaO, SrO, BaO, and ZrO2 contents of 0 to 13 wt.%, 0 to 13 wt.%, 0 to 13 wt.%, and 0 to 10 wt.%, respectively, provided that the sum of CaO, SrO, BaO, and ZrO2 is 0 to 13%, and having a strain point of 520~C or higher.
