GLIDE ASSEMBLY WITH INSIDE HOLDING CLIP ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An inner-gripping glide assembly with an outer sleeve for mounting on an end of a tubular member, which glide has an upright pedestal with outwardly extending gripping prongs for insertion into said tube and a relatively wide gap is provided between the pedestal and sleeve to allow said tubular member to nest against the sleeve bottom surface, thereby allowing maximum penetration by the pedestal-mounted gripping prongs and avoidance of plating-process flashing at said inner tube end.
