ABSTRACT A golf bag retainer and wall guard comprises a back place for affixing upon a wall. A shelf projects at a right angle from the back plate. A pair of brackets supports the shelf at the right angle to the back plate and triangulates between shelf and back plate. A supporting edge defines a recess. The supporting edge is curved to receive an upper portion of a golf bag. The brackets are located to either side of the supporting edge.
