The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least 0.1 wt.% of granules suitable for use in foodstuffs, said granules having an average diameter in the range of 30-3000 ~m and comprising: a. 3-70 wt. of a plurality of non-lipophilic particles with an average diameter in the range of 3-300 ~m, said particles containing at least 0.1 wt.% of one or more functional food ingredients; b. 10-80 wt.% of a discrete continuous phase containing at least 90 wt.% lipids, which continuous phase envelops the non-lipophilic particles and holds them together, the combination of non-lipophilic particles and the continuous phase forming an agglomerate with a diameter in the range of 20- 2000 ~m; and c. 10-80 wt.% of an exterior lipophilic layer that encompasses the agglomerate, which lipophilic layer exhibits a slip melting point of at least 30~C.

La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant au moins 0,1 % en masse de granules pouvant être utilisés dans des produits alimentaires, lesdits granules ayant un diamètre moyen compris entre 30 et 3000 µm. Ces granules renferment a. 3 à 70 % en masse d'une pluralité de particules non lipophiles d'un diamètre moyen compris entre 3 et 300 µm, lesdites particules contenant au moins 0,1 % en masse d'un ou plusieurs ingrédients fonctionnels pour les produits alimentaires ; b. 10 à 80 % en masse d'une phase continue discrète contenant au moins 90 % en masse de lipides, cette phase continue étant destinée à recouvrir les particules non lipophiles et à les lier ensemble, la combinaison des particules non lipophiles et de la phase continue formant un agglomérat d'un diamètre compris entre 20 et 2000 µm ; et c. 10 à 80 % en masse d'une couche lipophile extérieure qui enveloppe l'agglomérat, cette couche lipophile présentant un point d'écoulement d'au moins 30 ·C.
