A half nut has a short shank with an external screw thereon and an inner wall which confines an axial hole therein. The inner wall has an internal screw thread with a first screw pitch . The external screw thread of the half nut has a second screw pitch different from the first screw pitch. The internal and external threads are substantially concentric. The external screw thread of the half nut is defined by substantially constant major and minor radii, while the internal screw thread is defined by substantially constant greatest and shortest radii. The internal screw thread has a constant half-breadth which is greater than a difference between the minor and greatest radii.
L'invention porte sur un demi-écrou qui comporte une courte tige présentant un filet de vis externe et une paroi interne confinant un trou axial à l'intérieur. La paroi interne comprend un filet de vis interne ayant un premier pas. Le filet de vis externe du demi-écrou présente un second pas différent du premier. Les filets de vis interne et externe sont essentiellement concentriques. Le filet de vis externe du demi-écrou est défini par des rayons majeur et mineur essentiellement constants, tandis que le filet de vis interne est défini par des rayons supérieur et inférieur essentiellement constants. Le filet de vis interne présente une demi-largeur constante qui est supérieure à une différence entre les rayons mineur et supérieur.
