The invention relates to a novel halogenated polymer stabilising ingredient containing at least one type of beta-dicarbonyl compound, and additive composition for halogenated polymers containing said ingredient and a stabilised composition based on the halogenated polymer. Said invention improves the stabilisation of the halogenated polymers and is used, in particular for stabilising a polyvinyl chloride.
