HANG-UP FIXTURE Abstract of the Disclosure A fixture for installation in position suspended from an overhead horizontal beam such as an inverted "T" shaped beam at the ceiling of a store. The fixture has a top portion with an upper surface adapted to bear against the base of the beam and can be moved to its installed position on the beam solely by twisting it about a vertical axis in one direction, and returned to its released position solely by twisting it about the same axis in the opposite direction. The fixture includes a pair of projections extending upwardly from the periphery of the top surface, each having a fin extending over and spaced from said top surface and tapered outward- ly away from the top surface of the fixture so that when the fixture has been twisted to its installed position the fixture is locked to the flange of the beam that is between the top surface of the fix- ture and the bottom surface of the fin of the fixture. The fixture has a flange extending downwardly from and across the top portion whereby it may be twisted to or from-its installed position. This flange also serves to receive a suspension cord for suspending an article from the fixture, and the flange has means for holding the cord wound on the flange when the fixture is not in use. A tool for installing the fixture on or removing it from the beam comprises a pole having at one end a surface upon which the fixture can rest and whereby it may be twisted to or from its installed position.
