HERBICIDAL COMPOSITION Abstract There is described a selective herbicidal composition which contains, besides inert additives, the herbicidally effective sulfonylurea N-(2-methoxy carbonylphenylsulfonyl)-N'- (4,6-bis-difluoromethoxy- pyrimidin-2-yl)-urea of the formula I Image (I), and, for increasing the tolerance of the cultivated plants, a non- phytotoxic amount of a dichloroacetamide of the formula II (II) Image wherein Ra and Rb independently of one another are each hydrogen, an unsubstituted or substituted alicyclic hydrocarbon, or one of them is an amine, or both together with the nitrogen atom to which they are linked are also a 5-12-membered hetero- cyclic radical. The composition is suitable for controlling weeds in crops of cultivated plants, for example cereals, maize, rice sorghum, and so forth.
