The invention provides hereto-multivalent ligand binging agents (traps) for members of the TGF-.beta. superfamily, as well as methods for making and using such constructs. In an embodiment of the invention there is provided a hereto-multivalent binding agent with affinity for a member for the TGF-.beta. superfamily, said agent comprising the general structure (I): (<bd1 >-linker)k -[{<bdl>- linker 2- <bd2>-linker 3f-}n -(<bd3>)m-(linker4-<bd4>)d]h, where bd1, bd2, bd3 and bd4 are polypeptide binding domains having an affinity for different sites on the same member or for different members of the TGF-.beta. superfamily, wherein at least two of bd1, bd2, bd3 , and bd4 are different from each other.
L'invention porte sur des agents de liaison ligands hétéro-multivalents (pièges) pour des membres de la superfamille des TGF-ß, ainsi que sur des méthodes de fabrication et l'utilisation de telles constructions. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'invention porte sur un agent de liaison hétéro-multivalent avec une affinité pour un membre de la superfamille de TGF-ß, ledit agent comprenant la structure générale (I) : (-lieur1)k-[{-lieur2--lieur3r-}n-()m-(lieur4-)d]h, où bd1, bd2, bd3 et bd4 sont des domaines de liaison polypeptidiques ayant une affinité pour différents sites sur le même membre ou pour différents membres de la superfamille des TGF-ß, au moins deux parmi bd1, bd2, bd3 et bd4 étant différents l'un de l'autre.
