The invention concerns high level type ?.DELTA. analog-to-digital converters and essentially comprises connecting the outputs (S1-Sn) of all the comparators (D1-Dn) of the converter stages directly to the loop adder stage (E) without insertion of the digital processing device, thereby facilitating the manufacture of such modulators.
