HOCKEY STICK CONSTRUCTION Abstract of the Disclosure This invention provides a hockey stick including a blade and a handle, in which the handle has unidirectional longitudinal reinforced fiber means, such as glass fibers, secured thereto. The longitudinal fiber means increase the resistance of the handle to beam bending moments, which consitute the form of stress most often encountered by the handle. Optionally the blade of the hockey stick may be wrapped with bi- directional interwoven fiber means, such as fiberglass cloth, to increase the blade's resistance to direct impact.
