ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A hollow beam built up from boards, in which at at least one corner the edge regions of two adjacent boards are held together with the help of a corner moulding which is con- nected to the two adjacent boards by respective tongue and groove connections extending longitudinally of the hollow beam. A clip is provided along the length of the corner, the clip having opposite ends thereof engaged in respective recesses in respective ones of the adjacent boards, the clip being screwed to the corner moulding. The tongue and groove con- nections are provided at longitudinal edges, at the corner sides, of the adjacent boards.
