Hydrophilic fluoropolymers obtained by radical polymerization, in a precipitating medium, of a mixture of monomers composed of at least one monomer with perfluoroalkyl side chain, of one or more ionic or ionizable hydrophilic monomer(s) and optionally of one or more nonionic hydrophilic monomer(s). Use of the polymers as dispersants or thickeners and as additives in multipurpose fire-fighting emulsifiers is also described.

Fluoropolymères hydrophiles obtenus par polymérisation radicalaire, dans un milieu précipitant, d'un mélange de monomères composé d'au moins un monomère à chaîne latérale perfluoroalkyle, d'au moins un monomère hydrophile ionique ou ionisable et, éventuellement, d'un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophiles non ioniques. On décrit aussi l'utilisation de ces polymères comme dispersants ou épaississants et comme additifs dans des émulseurs polyvalents de lutte contre les incendies.
