An IC card connector used for an electronic device into which an IC card is loaded. The IC card connector is provided with a body (1) having a contact connecting means comprising a guide plate (7) and a guide arm (8), and a card supporter (3) having a card loading passage-forming recess and fixed to the body (1). When an IC card (14) is loaded and moved in the direction A, a card contacting portion (8a), which is positioned in the card insert passage (15), of the guide arm (8) is also moved in the direction A, and this force is converted into a force crossing the card inserting direction by inclined surfaces (33a, 33b) of the guide plate (7) and those (35a, 35b) of the guide arm (8). Consequently, contacts (28a, 28b) of the device engage with those (14a, 14b) of the IC card (14), and the IC card (14) is locked in the card loading passage (15).
Connecteur de carte à circuit intégré pour un dispositif électronique dans lequel une telle carte est chargée. Le connecteur de carte à circuit intégré comporte un corps (1) équipé d'un moyen de connexion par contact composé d'une plaque de guidage (7) et d'un bras de guidage (8) et un support pour carte (3) comportant un évidement formant un passage pour charger la carte, fixé au corps (1) du connecteur. Lorsqu'une carte à circuit intégré (14) est chargée et déplacée dans le sens A, une portion de contact (8a) du bras de guidage (8), disposée dans le passage d'insertion (15) de la carte, est également déplacée dans le sens A, et cette force est transformée en une force perpendiculaire au sens d'insertion de la carte par les surfaces inclinées (33a, 33b) sur la plaque de guidage (7) et sur le bras de guidage (8). Les contacts (28a, 28b) du dispositif viennent ainsi contre les contacts (14a, 14b) de la carte à circuit intégré (14), cette dernière étant bloquée dans le passage de chargement (15).
