The present invention provides an ignition actuation mechanism for the manual actuator of a spark producing device in a fuel gas lighter to increase the actuation force immediately before spark discharge without unreasonably increasing the actuation force at the initial stages of movement of the manual actuator to reduce that chances of inadvertent ignition by small children, but maintaining good operability for adult users. Movement of the manual actuator is always resisted by a first elastic member while a second elastic member is positioned to resist movement of the manual actuator at a maximum of 30N to 50N after 60% or more of the total movement of the manual actuator required to produce a spark has occurred. Preferably the second elastic member is one or more flexible fingers molded from polyacetal resin.
L'invention porte sur une canne d'allumage à amorçage piézo-électrique comprenant: un réservoir de gaz (10) présentant un corps principal (11) et une couverture supérieure (13) placée dans le boîtier (2) du corps principal; un mécanisme piézo-électrique (40) monté sur la couverture supérieure (13); une buse d'injection montée à l'extrémité du boîtier (2) du corps principal; une gâchette (3A), de polyacétal, disposée à l'extrémité du mécanisme piézo-électrique (40); et des ressorts à lame (4A, 4A) formant un ensemble intégré. Quand la canne ne fonctionne pas, il existe entre la gâchette et la surface (13a) de l'extrémité supérieure de la couverture supérieure (13) un espace correspondant à 60 à 90 % de la course de la gâchette. Au début de l'allumage, la charge opérante est à un niveau normal, mais lorsque les ressorts (4A, 4A) viennent buter sur surface (13a) de l'extrémité supérieure de la couverture supérieure (13), la charge opérante croît en raison de l'application de la charge élastique des ressorts (4A, 4A) à la gâchette, ainsi cet accroissement immédiatement avant la décharge ne demande pas d'augmentation non nécessaire de la charge opérante au début de l'allumage, et une personne non experte dans le maniement de la canne peut l'utiliser sans problème avec une excellente maîtrise.
