The invention concerns IM-5 zeolite of chemical composition expressed on an anhydrous base, in terms of mol ratios of oxides, by the formula: 100 XO2, m Y2O3, p R2/nO, in which m is not more than 10, p is between 0 (excluded) and 20, R represents one or several cations of valence n, X represents silicon or germanium, Y represents one or several of the following elements: aluminium, iron, gallium, boron, titanium. The invention is characterised in that it has, in crude synthetic form, an X-ray diffraction pattern comprising the results shown in table 1 of the description. The invention also concerns the preparation of said zeolite, any catalyst containing said zeolite as well as any catalytic method using such a catalyst.
L'invention concerne la zéolithe IM-5 de composition chimique exprimée sur une base anhydre, en termes de rapports molaires d'oxydes, par la formule: 100 XO2, m Y2O3, p R2/n O, où m est égal ou inférieur à 10, p est compris entre 0(exclu) et 20, R représente un ou plusieurs cations de valence n, X représente du silicium et/ou du germanium, Y représente un ou plusieurs des éléments suivants: l'aluminium, le fer, le gallium, le bore, le titane; et caractérisée par le fait qu'elle présente, sous forme brute de synthèse, un diagramme de diffraction X comportant les résultats présentés dans le tableau 1 de la description. L'invention concerne aussi la préparation de ladite zéolithe, tout catalyseur comprenant ladite zéolithe ainsi que tout procédé catalytique utilisant un tel catalyseur.
