A method of promoting a reaction between a duplex-binding ligand and a duplex nucleic acid molecule, the duplex nucleic acid molecule being formed from a first single strand nucleic acid molecule and a second single strand nucleic acid molecule, under conditions wherein the rate of duplex formation would be substantially less in the absence of the duplex-binding ligand.

L'invention concerne une méthode pour favoriser la réaction entre un ligand se liant à un duplex et une molécule duplex d'acide nucléique, la molécule duplex d'acide nucléique étant formée d'une première molécule d'acide nucléique à simple brin et d'une seconde molécule d'acide nucléique à simple brin, dans des conditions où le taux de formation du duplex serait nettement inférieur en l'absence du ligand se liant au duplex.
