The present invention relates to improved methods for the incorporation of DNA into the genome of a soybean (Glycine max) plant utilizing meristematic cells of primary or higher leaf nodes as target tissue by means of Agrobacterium- mediated transformation and subsequent regeneration of the transformed cells into a whole plant.
L'invention concerne des procédés améliorés permettant d'incorporer de l'ADN dans le génome d'une plante de soja (Glycine max) au moyen de cellules méristématiques de noeuds foliaires primaires ou supérieurs comme tissu cible, au moyen d'une transformation induite par Agrobacterium et d'une régénération subséquente des cellules transformées dans l'ensemble de la plante.
