The invention concerns a method whereby the membranes (2) are washed with detergents, or adsorbable chemical or biochemical products on activated carbon. The final rinsing for eliminating the detergents is carried out by passing water through the membrane (2) until the residual concentration of detergents is brought below the maximum permissible concentration in water for human consumption. The improvements are characterised in that the method consists in: drawing, for specific treatment external to the system, one first part of rinsing water of the order of 10 to 20 % of the total volume of water required for final rinsing; introducing the powdered activated carbon in the equipment recycling loop; recycling the volume contained in said recycling loop with added powdered activated carbon through the membrane (2), while the permeate is returned into the chamber (4) wherein the washing or rinsing water is stored and from which said recycling is carried out; said recycling being performed until the powdered activated carbon reaches adsorption equilibrium.
Les membranes (2) subissent un lavage en utilisant des détergents, ou des produits chimiques ou biochimiques adsorbables sur charbon actif. Le rinçage final pour l'élimination des détergents est effectué par passage d'eau au travers de la membrane (2) jusqu'à amener la concentration résiduelle de détergents sous la limite de concentration maximale admissible dans les eaux destinées à la consommation humaine. Les perfectionnements étant caractérisés en ce que: on soutire, pour traitement spécifique extérieur au système, une première partie de l'eau de rinçage de l'ordre de 10 à 20 % du volume total de l'eau nécessaire au rinçage final; on introduit du charbon actif en poudre dans la boucle de recirculation de l'équipement; on fait recirculer le volume contenu dans ladite boucle de recirculation additionné de charbon actif en poudre au travers de la membrane (2), avec retour du perméat dans l'enceinte (4) dans laquelle est stockée l'eau de lavage ou de rinçage et à partir de laquelle s'effectue ladite recirculation; cette recirculation étant effectuée jusqu'à atteindre un équilibre d'adsorption par le charbon actif en poudre.
