An ink jet recording media system is described which comprises at least one coating layer that comprises a zwitterionic copolymer or cooligomer, which copolymer or cooligomer comprises monomer units derived from at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of the zwitterionic monomers and at least one monomer selected from the group consisting of the hydroxy functional monomers and etherified hydroxy functional monomers. The media system exhibits fast dry times, excellent image quality, low levels of glycol smear, low color coalescence and excellent light fastness.

L'invention concerne un système de support d'enregistrement d'imprimante à jet d'encre comprenant au moins une couche de revêtement contenant un copolymère ou un co-oligomère zwitterionique, ledit copolymère ou co-olygomère contenant des unités monomères issues d'au moins un monomère choisi dans le groupe constitué par des monomères zwitterioniques et au moins un monomère choisi dans le groupe constitué par des monomères fonctionnels hydroxy et des monomères fonctionnels hydroxy éthérifiés. Le système de support selon l'invention présente des temps de séchage rapides, une excellente qualité d'image, de faibles niveaux de bavures de glycol, une faible coalescence de couleur et une excellente solidité à la lumière.
