An inserting device for coiled tubing (8) comprises a top drive (7) having a through-going, sleeve-shaped shaft (6) and an injector (10) for coiled tubing (8). The coiled tubing (8) is passed through safety valves (16), packer (12) as well as a valve (13) and further through the top drive's (7) sleeve-shaped shaft (6). The coiled tubing (8) is passed over a guide wheel (9). Drilling fluid is conducted to the top drive (7) through a hose (3) running over a caster (4), and a drilling fluid valve (5). A packer (12) seals around the coiled tubing (8), and the valve (13) is adapted to be capable of cutting the coiled tubing (8).
