A scrubber installation (1) for cleaning, for instance, fire smoke gas comprises a preseparator (13) having at least one perforated plate (19, 19') upstream of which a set of first nozzles is arranged, with the purpose of spraying the upstream side of the plate with flushing liquid so as to dampen and cool the smoke gas and flush the holes of the plate. One or more sets of nozzles (25, 25') are arranged downstream of the plate which squirt liquid in the reverse flow of the gas through the holes with the purpose of dampening and cooling the gas additionally. Water steam is condensing on the solid particles acting as condensation nuclei, which still are included in the gas when it passes the plate, the liquid and the particles forming agglomerates the sizes of which facilitate separation in the following cleaning devices (14, 15, 16).
La présente invention concerne une installation de lavage (1) destinée à nettoyer notamment des gaz de fumées de combustion. Une telle installation inclut un séparateur primaire (13) comportant au moins un plateau perforé (19, 19') en amont duquel est monté un premier jeu de gicleurs qui pulvérisent sur la face amont de la plaque un liquide de lavage humidifiant et refroidissant le gaz de fumée et lavant les trous du plateau. Un ou plusieurs jeux de gicleurs (25, 25'), disposés en aval du plateau, envoient au travers des trous, des jets de liquide en sens inverse de l'écoulement du gaz, afin d'humidifier et de refroidir encore plus le gaz. La vapeur d'eau vient se condenser sur les particules solides servant de noyaux de condensation se trouvant encore dans le gaz lorsqu'il traverse le plateau, le liquide et les particules venant constituer des agglomérats dont la taille facilite la séparation par les dispositifs de lavage ultérieurs (14, 15, 16).
