Disclosed herein are compositions comprising lithium bro-mide, water, and at least one ionic com-pound. These compositions are useful as working fluids in absorption cycle sys-tems. The ionic compound additive has been demonstrated to reduce crystalliza-tion in such absorption cycle systems.
