ABREGE La présente invention concerne un conteneur isotherme à parois isothermes comportant un réservoir pour produit réfrigérant thermiquement conducteur (10) disposé dans la partie haute du conteneur; un écran (3) en matière thermiquement isolante, de dimensions légèrement inférieures à la section interne du conteneur et laissant à son pourtour un espace annulaire (8) propre au passage libre du gaz est disposé horizontalement au-dessous du réservoir (10), à une distance suffisante pour délimiter dans la partie haute du conteneur une zone (6) propre à l'échange par convection naturelle; le réservoir (10) et l'écran (3) comportant des moyens (4, 12, 13, 14) de fixation et/ou de support dans le conteneur (1), caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un compartiment à aliment disposé dans le conteneur, en dessous de la plaque formant écran, de dimensions sensiblement inférieures au volume intérieur du conteneur, un espace restant libre autour du compartiment dans le conteneur.
