The invention relates to a jacketed projectile (100), comprising a tungsten carbide hard core (5) on the front side and an centered, interlocking soft core (8) placed on the hard core (5). A closed air space (6) is located between the front area (5a) of the hard core (5) and the tip of the projectile (4). This projectile configuration provides a very high penetration potential and good dynamic and ballistic properties, enabling the inventive projectiles to be used as munition for police snipers, especially to hit targets located behind a glass.

L'invention concerne un projectile chemisé (100) présentant un noyau dur (5) en carbure de tungstène en partie frontale et un noyau tendre (8) appuyé contre le noyau dur (5) de manière centrée par liaison de forme. Entre une zone frontale (5a) du noyau dur (5) et la pointe (4) du projectile se trouve un espace libre fermé (6) dans le projectile (100). Le projectile selon l'invention présente une puissance de claquage très élevée et de bonnes propriétés dynamiques et balistiques; il peut donc servir de munitions pour des tireurs d'élite en mission de police, en particulier pour combattre des cibles se trouvant derrière du verre.
