The invention refers to a fitness device in the form of a garment for shaping the figure of a human body, said device comprising a sleeve which encloses the body at least partially in an airtight manner. A fitness device of this type is for instance known as a sweating suit. The sweating suit generates a sauna climate in its interior, which leads to an increased metabolism. Thus, the training results and the figure shaping may be improved. However, it is necessary for conventional sweating suits to wear these suits regularly over a longer period of time. Thus, the object of the invention is to provide a fitness device, which at least compared to the conventional sweating suits enables faster results in the figure shaping and which can be used in an aimed manner at certain parts of the body. According to the invention, this problem for a fitness device (1) of the above-mentioned kind is solved in that the sleeve forms a low pressure chamber (5) with at least one section of the body surface, said low pressure chamber being loaded with an air pressure that is lower compared to the atmosphere. The blood circulation is stimulated by the low pressure in the area of the low pressure chamber (5) and the metabolism in the fat-containing skin layers is increased. This leads to a faster reduction of fat. The fitness device may moreover be worn while simultaneously performing a regular workout training.
L'invention concerne un accessoire de fitness se présentant sous forme d'un article d'habillement, pour modelage de la silhouette d'un corps humain, comprenant une enveloppe entourant le corps de manière, au moins partiellement, étanche à l'air. Un tel accessoire est connu par exemple en tant que survêtement pour bain de vapeur. Le survêtement génère, en son intérieur, un environnement du type bain de vapeur, provoquant un accroissement du rythme du métabolisme. Ceci permet d'améliorer les résultats du training et la forme de la sllhouette. Les survêtements de ce type connus jusqu'à présent doivent toutefois être portés régulièrement sur une longue période. L'invention a pour but de fournir un accessoire de fitness permettant d'obtenir des résultats plus rapides en matière de modelage de la silhouette, au moins comparativement aux survêtements conventionnels, et pouvant être utilisé dans des zones spécifiques du corps. Ce but est atteint pour un accessoire de fitness du type précité (1) qui est caractérisé en ce que l'enveloppe forme une chambre à dépression (5) dont au moins une partie est en contact avec la surface du corps, et en ce que la dite chambre est soumise à une pression d'air qui est inférieure à celle de l'environnement à l'extérieur de l'accessoire de fitness (1). Cette dépression stimule la circulation sanguine dans la zone de la chambre à dépression (5) et accroît le métabolisme dans les couches grasses de la peau. Il en résulte une diminution rapide des tissus graisseux. L'accessoire de fitness peut également être porté lorsqu'on pratique en même temps un entraînement régulier.
