The labelled container (10) of the invention includes a container having a bottom portion (16) and a sidewall (18) extending therefrom to an opening (20) at an end opposite the bottom portion (16). The opening (20) is adapted for receiving a removable cover (22) (or cap). The sidewall (18), or at least a portion thereof, is transparent. A label (30) bearing indicia representative of the contents of the container is disposed on the outer surface of the sidewall (18). The label has a substantially transparent region (32) surrounded by a substantially non-transparent region (34). When the label (30) is disposed on the sidewall (18), the transparent region (32) is positioned to overlap at least part of the transparent portion of the container (10). The transparent region (32) of the label may be a hole pressing through the label or a sheet or film which is a sheet contiguous with the non-transparent region (34) of the label (30). Preferably, the non-transparent region (34) of the label (30) includes a border extending from the transparent region of the label. The border has an optical reflectivity characterized by a first spectral range. A portion of the non-transparent region (34) of the label (30) extending from points adjacent to the border has an optical reflectivity characterized by a second spectral range, where the first spectral range is different than the second spectral range.
Cette invention se rapporte à un récipient étiqueté (10), constitué par un récipient ayant une partie inférieure (16) et une paroi latérale (18) s'étendant depuis cette partie inférieure jusqu'à une ouverture (20) située à une extrémité opposée de la partie inférieure. Cette ouverture est conçue pour recevoir un couvercle (ou bouchon) amovible (22). La paroi latérale (18), ou au moins une partie de celle-ci, est transparente. Une étiquette (30) portant des indications sur le contenu du récipient est disposée sur la surface externe de la paroi latérale (18). Cette étiquette possède une région essentiellement transparente (32) entourée par une région essentiellement non transparente (34). Lorsque l'étiquette (30) est disposée sur la paroi latérale (18), la région transparente (32) se place de façon à chevaucher au moins partiellement la partie transparente du récipient (10). La région transparente (32) de l'étiquette peut être formée par un trou exerçant une pression sur l'étiquette ou une membrane ou un film constitué par une membrane contiguë à la région non transparente (34) de l'étiquette (30). La région non transparente (34) de l'étiquette (30) comporte de préférence un bord s'étendant depuis la région transparente de l'étiquette. Ce bord présente une réflectivité optique caractérisée par une première plage spectrale. Une partie de la région non transparente (34) de l'étiquette (30) s'étendant depuis des points adjacents audit bord présente une réflectivité optique caractérisée par une seconde plage spectrale, différente de la première plage spectrale.
