A lake water mixing device wherein an elongated, generally cylindrical, open ended housing is submerged at a lake's deepest point with it's longitudinal axis in a generally vertical attitude. It is supported by legs resting on the bed or by floatation and anchor devices. A powered propeller inside the housing is arranged so that it's rotation causes a rising current through the housing. This rising current brings bottom waters to the lake's surface.

Cet appareil présente un logement de forme allongée, généralement cylindrique et comportant une extrémité ouverte que l'on submerge au point le plus profond d'un lac en maintenant son axe longitudinal en position généralement verticale. Il est soutenu par des pieds reposant sur le lit du lac ou par des dispositifs de flottaison et d'ancrage. Une hélice motorisée est placée dans le logement de manière à ce que sa rotation crée un courant ascendant entraînant l'eau du fond du lac jusqu'à la surface.
